About the owners

Hi!

We are Ryan and Shannie, the owners of Tea Won Boba & PC Cafe! During COVID 2020, the two of us met online over Valorant, a popular and ever growing video game. From texting to phone calls, we then met in person, and leveled up together as a couple! Shortly after, Ryan’s health took a turn for the worse. Supported through the screen from the home of California, Shannie, who helped run a successful boba shop brought brighter days to Ryan. Unsure on a job future with health complications we then fast forward to 2023. On a simple trip to see his parents in Arizona, Ryan’s visit to a local PC Cafe sparked a sudden idea for him and his dad. “Why don’t we start one here?” jokingly said Ryan’s dad.

Here we are a year later since that question was first presented, getting ready to open our doors to all of you. Starting the first public gaming cafe in the Treasure Valley and combining it with something we both share a love for… boba! At Tea Won we want to create an atmosphere that is both fun and different. Above all else, we want to make people happy. With our luxurious lounge area, high powered gaming PC’s and delicious boba we hope to keep you coming back over and over again. We also aim to provide an environment that is inclusive to all gamers. Our doors are open to the youth community, adults, families and everything in-between. We also know firsthand the difficulties that women sometimes face in the gaming community, and look forward to providing an environment that makes it a place where all can have fun and enjoy. We look forward to having you join us on this journey.
